Smoked Turkey & Spinach Omelette
For those who rise and shine with a sweaty workout, this is an excellent post-workout breakfast because it's rich in protein to help repair and build your muscle! Egg protein is often championed as an "ideal" protein due to its amino acid profile and excellent digestibility. Want to make somewhat boring eggs delicious? Chop up and add in all the goodies in this recipe.
• 3 eggs
• 2 tbs of milk
• 2 frozen cubes of spinach
• 2 slices of smoked turkey
• 2 mushrooms, sliced
• 5 cherry tomatoes
• 1 tbs salt
• Pinch of black pepper
Heat up a pan and add a tbs of olive oil. Combine the eggs, milk, mushrooms, tomatoes and mix well. Season the mixture, then pour contents into the pan.
On one half of the omelet spread the thawed out spinach leaves. On the other half, add the two slices of smoked turkey. After 4 minutes, flip one half of the omelet on the other and leave to cook for another 2 minutes. Turn over and cook a final 2 minutes.
